What is a black void studio?
A blackout or black void studio uses dark surroundings and controlled light to isolate a subject or create an atmospheric scene. The final look depends on your lighting, exposure, lens and distance from the background.
Is the studio completely blacked out?
The 10m × 10m area has 360° blackout draping. Tell us about any light-sensitive setup so we can plan access, spill control and working lights around it.
Are lights included?
We have in-house photography and continuous-light equipment available. Your quote will confirm the fixtures, grip and crew included in your booking; bring your own kit if you prefer.
Can we use haze or special effects?
Discuss haze, smoke, liquids, confetti and other effects with us before booking. We will confirm what can be accommodated and any preparation or reset needed.
Can we record dialogue?
Tell us if clean dialogue or live sound is important. Arrange a recce or sound check and agree the recording requirements with the team; blackout describes light control, not a soundproof guarantee.
Can a vehicle or large set come inside?
Ground-floor drive-in access is available. Send dimensions, weight and the proposed setup so the team can confirm access and a suitable working layout.
Can beginners hire the studio?
Yes. Cineview is open to first-time studio users as well as experienced production companies. Tell us what support you need so it can be included in your quote.
How do we book?
