Menus, bakery & plated dishes

Make every
detail appetising.

A crisp edge. A glossy finish. The layers inside a pastry. Plan a hero angle, an overhead view and close-up details around the food you want customers to notice.

Bring your photographer and food stylist, then build the tabletop, surfaces and lighting around your brief. Include room for horizontal website images and vertical campaign crops.

Find the right visual approach

From the first ingredient
to the finished serve.

Use the same studio booking for different parts of your campaign, with a planned schedule for styling, lighting changes and fresh replacements.

A smoother food shoot starts with the plan

Prepare the shot.
Then bring in the food.

Agree the preparation.

Tell us what needs to arrive ready, be assembled or be heated. Confirm any cooking equipment, refrigeration, water, power and washing-up needs before booking.

Build in fresh takes.

Bring duplicates of hero products, garnishes and packaging. Schedule food that changes quickly after lighting tests, and allow time to reset each setup.

Deliver every format.

List the products, angles and final crops you need. Plan space for labels or campaign text, and agree which setups also need short video clips.

Share your preparation requirements with us first. Specialist cooking facilities, refrigeration, food stylists, ingredients and props are not automatically included in studio hire.

Food & drink studio hire questions

Get the practical
details sorted.

Is a food photographer or stylist included?

This is studio hire for your production. Bring your photographer, food stylist and creative team. Any additional equipment or support should be requested and agreed separately in your quote.

Can we cook or prepare food at the studio?

Tell us exactly what your shoot needs before booking, including cooking equipment, heating, chilled storage and cleaning. We will confirm what can be accommodated. Do not assume the studio is a fully equipped food-production kitchen.

Can we bring our own lighting, backgrounds and props?

Yes. There is no additional charge simply for bringing your own kit. Bring the surfaces, backgrounds, tableware and styling props your brief needs, and confirm larger items and any powered equipment in advance.

Can we shoot drinks, bottles and packaged products?

Yes. Plan the lighting, reflections, label visibility and background for each product. Bring clean samples, spare packaging and any garnishes or glassware needed for the final serve.

Can we capture photographs and video in one booking?

Yes, when the schedule allows. Include time for camera and lighting changes, sound requirements and resets. Tell us about pours, movement and any special effects so the setup can be agreed before the shoot.

How do we secure a studio date?

Send your preferred date, working hours, crew size and brief using the availability form. We will confirm availability and your quote. Full payment is required to secure the booking.
