Build a world
around the story.

Work with a clean backdrop, shape a darker portrait or bring a constructed set. The space gives your photographer, stylist and art director room to develop the frame together.

Think beyond a single frame

Make room
for the layout.

Cover: bring the masthead and cover-line positions. Leave the negative space your designer needs.

Spread: plan the gutter, image sequence and room for copy before you start shooting.

Digital: include portrait, landscape and vertical crops so the story works across print, web and social.

Keep the production moving

Prepare the brief.
Protect the shoot day.

01. Share the story.

Send your moodboard, publication format, crew size and number of looks. Include the cover, spread and digital images you need.

02. Plan the setup.

Confirm backdrops, lighting, set dimensions and any preparation. Bring your own kit at no extra charge or request equipment hire.

03. Allow working time.

Include load-in, pre-light, hair and make-up, wardrobe changes and pack-down. Ask about consecutive days for a more involved set.

Before you book

Magazine studio hire.
Your questions answered.

Is this studio hire or a complete magazine photography service?

This is studio hire for your production. Bring your photographer, models, stylist and art director. Equipment, crew or other production support must be discussed and agreed separately in your quote.

Can we shoot a cover and the inside editorial in one booking?

Yes. Share the number of looks, lighting changes and set requirements so you can book enough time for the cover and supporting story. Include preparation and pack-down in your schedule.

Can we build a set or use a coloured background?

Discuss your set drawings, materials and colour ideas before booking. We can help you plan the space; painting, preparation, build time and any support are agreed in advance.

Can we bring our own equipment?

Yes. There is no charge for bringing your own kit. Ground-floor shutter access helps with loading props, lighting and wardrobe. Confirm any unusual dimensions or electrical requirements with us.

What information do you need for an availability enquiry?

Send your preferred dates, hours, crew size, shoot type and equipment or set needs. Full payment is required to secure your agreed studio booking.
