Dance & Movement
Film Studio Hire
London – UK
Give the movement room to breathe. Film choreography, dance campaigns and performance-led content in our 2,000 sq ft Greenwich studio.
Choreograph the shot.
As well as the dance.
A performance that works in rehearsal can change once a lens, lighting stand and crew share the floor. Bring the choreography and camera references so you can plan the usable performance area, sightlines and resets together.
Build a sequence around full-body coverage, close detail and the moments between movements. Allow time to rehearse within the final frame before recording takes.

Let the performance
lead the production.
These dance references show different approaches to movement and expression. Use your own moodboard to decide the background, lighting, costumes and coverage your film needs.

Group choreography.
Map formation changes and performer spacing. Keep the camera path and lighting positions clear of the dancers throughout the routine.

Expressive performance.
Balance wide coverage with hands, footwork and fabric in motion. Schedule costume checks and lighting adjustments between setups.

Precision and detail.
Preserve the gestures and timing that define the dance. Agree the framing with the performer before moving into tighter shots.
One routine.
Several useful edits.
01. Establish the movement.
Start with a full-body master shot. Check headroom, floor coverage and the widest reach of the choreography, including travel across the frame.
02. Choose the details.
Plan close-ups, alternate angles and transition shots. If you need slow motion, discuss frame rate, lighting and playback with your camera team.
03. Protect every format.
Include landscape and vertical delivery in the shot list. Leave enough framing space for the movement to remain visible in each crop.
Prepare the space.
Protect the rehearsal time.
Confirm the surface.
Discuss the dance style, footwear and floor requirements before booking. Do not assume a sprung dance floor, specialist dance surface or suitable conditions for every jump or routine. Arrange a viewing to assess suitability.
Schedule the resets.
Include warm-up, rehearsal, load-in, pre-light, costume changes, breaks and pack-down within your booked time. Build in recovery time between demanding takes.
Bring the production brief.
Share performer and crew numbers, the movement area, camera support and lighting requirements. Bring your own kit at no extra charge or ask about equipment hire.
Dance filming.
