A strong sports shoot combines character, movement and the details of the kit. Build a shot list that moves from the principal campaign frame to portraits, full-length views and product details. Share whether the images are for a clothing launch, athlete profile, fitness brand or training content so your team can plan consistent framing and useful crops.
Athlete portraits
Bring reference frames for expression, pose and lighting. Allow time for individual portraits, pairs or team combinations, then check that faces, uniforms and sponsor details remain readable in the final crops.
Activewear and equipment
Plan front, back, side and detail views of each look, followed by movement that shows how the garment behaves. Bring labelled outfits, footwear and approved props; keep a record of which products appear in each frame.
Movement and repeatable lighting
Discuss the action area, camera position and the clearance needed around talent. Rehearse each movement with your own qualified team and allow recovery and reset time. Your photographer should choose lighting and exposure for the intended sharpness or motion effect.
Choose the background around the brief
Consider the infinity cove studio for clean campaign frames or blackout for controlled dramatic lighting. Any set, floor covering or specialist equipment must be agreed before arrival. Cineview is a photography and film studio; gym equipment and coaching are not automatically part of the hire.

Can we bring our own equipment?
Yes. You can bring your own equipment at no extra bringing-kit charge. Cineview also has over 400 items of equipment in house. Hiring suitable kit from the studio can save time and transport costs. Are dogs and children welcome?
Yes. Dogs and children are welcome, and Cineview is a dog-friendly studio. Please contact us before bringing dogs so we can discuss the practical arrangements for your booking.
Do clients need insurance?
Client insurance is not required unless the work involves fire or water. Contact us before booking any fire or water activity to discuss the necessary cover and practical arrangements.
Do we need to send shot lists or call sheets?
No. Shot lists and call sheets are optional; you do not need to send them before shoot day. You are welcome to share them if they will help the studio team support your plans.
Can we bring fitness equipment?
Share the dimensions, weight, transport and floor-protection requirements before booking. Suitability, installation and handling must be agreed with the studio.
Can we photograph jumps or fast movement?
Describe the planned action and required clearance before booking. Your production team is responsible for choreography, appropriate supervision and a suitable working plan; specialist surfaces or equipment must be discussed in advance.
Does hire include a photographer?
Studio hire does not automatically include a photographer, creative team or full production service. Bring your own crew or discuss specific support before booking. Any extras must be agreed in your quote.
