Vehicle productions at Cineview

The vehicle.
The crew. The shot.

Build a controlled vehicle filming setup around your brief. These photographs from Cineview’s studio archive show real productions using the cove, green screen and space for cast, lighting and camera equipment.

Build the automotive film

From the cabin.
To the smallest control.

Detail photographs illustrate filming ideas. The studio archive gallery shows productions at Cineview.

Before the vehicle arrives

Plan the frame.
Prepare the vehicle.

A vehicle film often moves between wide views, presenter sequences and detailed inserts. Prepare the cabin and visible surfaces before the first take, then allow time to change camera positions and refine reflections.

Vehicle dimensions: send length, width and height, including mirrors or fitted accessories, so access and positioning can be discussed.

Arrival plan: agree delivery, drivers, load-in and the time needed to place the vehicle safely before lighting begins.

Floor protection: discuss tyres, cleaning and protection for the studio floor as part of your production plan.

Allow time for each setup

Control the light.
Keep the sequence clear.

Work through your main vehicle angles, cabin scenes and detail shots with your camera and lighting team. Share requirements for green-screen composites, controlled reflections, talent and any camera movement before booking.

Studio hire provides the space for your production. A vehicle, camera operator, sound recordist, lighting crew, post-production and road filming are not automatically included. Agree any additional equipment or support in your quote.

Prepare the production

A clear plan.
A smoother vehicle shoot.

01. Share the vehicle.

Send vehicle dimensions, quantity, preferred dates and your planned hours. Tell us about trailers, transporters or unusual access needs before booking.

02. Share the look.

Send your moodboard, background references and shot list. Agree cove preparation, blackout or green-screen requirements and any set changes in advance.

03. Allow working time.

Include delivery, positioning, cleaning, pre-light, filming and pack-down. Book enough time to reset the vehicle and lighting between angles.
