Work backwards from the approved script and planned duration: identify essential coverage, transitions and the end frame before booking. Cineview provides the studio space. Your production team manages directing, filming, casting, sound, editing, clearance and delivery unless specific support is agreed separately.
Start with the script and storyboard
Share the treatment, storyboard and shot list with your crew. Mark dialogue, action, product inserts and intended graphics so each setup has a purpose. Agree what must be captured before moving the lighting or changing the set.
Give performance room to develop
Build rehearsal and alternative readings into the schedule. Agree eyelines, marks and camera moves with talent, and allow time for wardrobe, hair and makeup. If dialogue matters, discuss current sound conditions and recording requirements before booking.
Keep the product and end frame consistent
Bring approved products, packaging and spare samples. Check labels, reflections, hand positions and continuity between takes. Plan a clean end frame and any space for graphics with the director and editor before the shoot.
Plan the versions before the edit
List the main spot, shorter cutdowns and any alternate messages before filming. Capture useful handles, clean moments and additional details while each setup is ready. Your production team should agree edit, colour, sound, clearance and delivery responsibilities separately.

Can we bring our own equipment?
Yes. You can bring your own equipment at no extra bringing-kit charge. Cineview also has over 400 items of equipment in house. Hiring suitable kit from the studio can save time and transport costs. Are dogs and children welcome?
Yes. Dogs and children are welcome, and Cineview is a dog-friendly studio. Please contact us before bringing dogs so we can discuss the practical arrangements for your booking.
Do clients need insurance?
Client insurance is not required unless the work involves fire or water. Contact us before booking any fire or water activity to discuss the necessary cover and practical arrangements.
Do we need to send shot lists or call sheets?
No. Shot lists and call sheets are optional; you do not need to send them before shoot day. You are welcome to share them if they will help the studio team support your plans.
Does studio hire include a finished TV commercial?
The booking covers the agreed studio hire and any separately quoted services. Production, post-production, clearance and broadcaster delivery are managed by your production team unless explicitly arranged.
Can we record dialogue on the shoot?
Discuss your dialogue and microphone needs before booking. Your sound recordist should assess the setup and current sound conditions. Do not assume a soundproof stage or included sound crew.
How much hire time should we allow?
Include access, unloading, set preparation, lighting, rehearsal, filming, resets and pack-down. Share crew numbers and the number of setups before booking. Confirm any pre-light or build time and its cost in your quote.
