Studio Hire for Agencies
& Production Companies
London

A practical studio base for your next client brief. Plan photography, film and branded content at Cineview Studios in Greenwich.

START WITH THE DELIVERABLES

One brief.
A clear production plan.

Bring the project requirements together before booking: the final images or films, intended channels, aspect ratios, talent, products and approval process. The studio schedule should reflect everything your team needs to capture.

What needs to be made?

Share a shot list, references and any set drawings. Include stills, motion, cutdowns and behind-the-scenes coverage where relevant, so changes of camera position and lighting are allowed for.

Who needs to be there?

Explain crew and talent numbers, client attendance, hair and make-up, wardrobe and product preparation. Check the actual facilities and working layout with your producer.

How will approval work?

Agree who signs off each setup and when they need to see it. Bring your own monitoring or tethering arrangement and confirm any connectivity requirements before the shoot.

CHECK THE SPACE AGAINST THE BRIEF

Make the recce
work for every department.

Check the widest camera angle, lighting positions, set footprint and room for crew movement. Walk through load-in, preparation, shooting and pack-down rather than judging the space from a single reference image.

For sound-critical filming, bring your sound team and arrange a test before booking. Discuss suitability for your particular recording; acoustic isolation is not assumed.

A WORKABLE SHOOT DAY

Keep the brief moving
from setup to handover.

Build the call sheet around practical transitions. Camera changes, approvals, resets and file management all take time alongside the shots themselves.

PREPARATION · SHOOT · STRIKE

Book the time
the production actually needs.

Pre-light and set preparation.

Include construction, dressing, product preparation and lighting tests in the schedule. Tell us if these need a separate day and discuss materials, fixings and safe working arrangements beforehand.

Consecutive working days.

For a larger brief, separate preparation from filming and pack-down. Ask about keeping a setup between days; storage, overnight access and set retention must be agreed for the specific booking.

Clear quote and responsibilities.

Bring your own production team and equipment, or discuss additional requirements separately. Confirm what the quote covers and any extra hire. Full payment is required to secure the booking.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Agency & production hire.
Your questions answered.

Can we produce both photography and film in one booking?

Discuss the full brief, equipment and proposed schedule. Include the time needed to change lighting, camera setups and talent preparation between stills and motion work.

Can the client attend the shoot?

Include client attendance in the crew numbers and explain the approval arrangements. Check the available facilities and any monitoring or connectivity needs during the recce.

Does studio hire include a production crew?

Studio hire does not automatically include directing, camera, sound, styling or editing. Your agency or production company manages its team; any additional equipment or support must be separately agreed.

Can we book preparation and shooting on different days?

Send the preferred preparation, shooting and strike dates. Availability, any retained setup and access between booked days must be confirmed before you finalise the production schedule.

What should be included in the enquiry?

Send dates, working hours, deliverables, crew and talent numbers, client attendance, equipment, set requirements and any sound recording. Add the preparation and pack-down time you need.
