YOUR FILM. YOUR PRODUCTION PLAN.

Give the idea
room to become a scene.

From a proof of concept to a short film or selected feature-film scenes, studio hire gives your team time to build, light, rehearse and shoot in one place. Start with the script, then work out the space, backgrounds and access your scene needs.

Bring your own camera, lighting and grip at no extra bring-your-own charge. Additional equipment and production support can be discussed separately and confirmed in your quote.

PLAN YOUR FIRST VISIT

Independent film studio hire.
Your questions answered.

Can I hire the studio with a small crew?

Yes. Share your cast and crew numbers, scene requirements and equipment plan so the studio can confirm a suitable arrangement. You organise the people and production skills your shoot needs.

Can we bring our own film equipment?

Yes. Bring your own camera, lighting and grip at no extra bring-your-own charge. Check power, access and safe operation, and confirm any additional hired equipment in advance.

Cineview also has over 400 items of equipment in house. Hiring suitable kit from the studio can save time and transport costs. Explore our equipment list and contact us with your equipment requirements to confirm availability and prices.

Are dogs and children welcome?

Yes. Dogs and children are welcome, and Cineview is a dog-friendly studio. Please contact us before bringing dogs so we can discuss the practical arrangements for your booking.

Do clients need insurance?

Client insurance is not required unless the work involves fire or water. Contact us before booking any fire or water activity to discuss the necessary cover and practical arrangements.

Do we need to send shot lists or call sheets?

No. Shot lists and call sheets are optional; you do not need to send them before shoot day. You are welcome to share them if they will help the studio team support your plans.

Is a film crew or editing included?

Studio hire does not automatically include a director, camera operator, sound recordist or editing. Discuss any separately available equipment or support with Cineview before booking.

Can we record dialogue?

Discuss the requirements with your sound recordist and arrange a recce or sound test. Assess suitability for your scene before confirming the booking.

Are student filmmakers eligible for a discount?

Student discounts and special rates are available for filming and photography projects. Share your course or institution, project brief, dates and budget so the applicable rate and terms can be confirmed.

Can we leave a set up between shoot days?

Ask before booking. Overnight storage or keeping a set in place depends on availability, the build and the agreed hire arrangement. Include your build, shoot and strike dates in the enquiry.
