Nanlite FC-1200 lights approach late-October shipping

Nanlite’s FC-1200B and FC-1200C are approaching their planned late-October shipping window, with UK retailer Production Gear currently listing both as stock in transit. These are upcoming deliveries, not confirmed UK shelf stock.
Announced on 3 September 2026, the 1200W-class LED spotlights put the power supply inside the head, removing the separate ballast from the setup. Rated power consumption is 1350W, and each head weighs approximately 10kg: fewer separate boxes does not mean a lightweight fixture.

Bi-colour or RGBW
The FC-1200B covers 2700–6500K. The RGBW FC-1200C expands that to 2400–12,000K, adding green/magenta adjustment and colour modes. Nanlite quotes 15,620 lux for the B and 14,220 lux for the C at three metres, at 5600K with the supplied 45° reflector. These are manufacturer figures, not Cineview test results.
Both offer Bowens-mount modifiers, 0.1% dimming, NANLINK app control and DMX/RDM. For productions planning a larger lighting setup in a controlled cove studio, the practical distinction is white-light output versus built-in colour, alongside the support required for a substantial head.

UK price and availability
As checked on 21 October 2026, Production Gear lists the FC-1200B at £1,198.80 including VAT and FC-1200C at £1,438.80 including VAT, both with stock in transit and lead times to be confirmed. Distributor Focus Nordic says shipping starts at the end of October; an exact UK delivery date remains unconfirmed.
