Blackmagic Camera 10.3.2 refines URSA Cine 12K LF workflows

Blackmagic Design has released Blackmagic Camera 10.3.2, a focused firmware update for the URSA Cine 12K LF. The changes concern network control, recording-mode switching and the camera’s LUT indicator, rather than a new camera or a new image-quality mode.

What changes in Camera 10.3.2?
According to Blackmagic’s official release notes, the update improves:
- REST control via NMOS on the camera’s 10G Ethernet port.
- Switching between SMPTE-2110 and Blackmagic RAW modes.
- LUT icon behaviour.
That makes this primarily a workflow-maintenance update for crews moving between IP-video and RAW recording setups. Blackmagic does not quantify the improvements, and these notes list the URSA Cine 12K LF specifically: they should not be read as a feature announcement for every URSA or PYXIS model.
For a production preparing to film in Cineview’s blackout studio in London, the useful takeaway is to check the hired camera’s firmware and rehearse the intended recording and monitoring setup before shoot day. We have not tested this update.
Availability
Blackmagic announced the update this week, and Camera 10.3.2 is available now for macOS and Windows through its official camera support downloads, checked on 22 October 2026. For camera purchases rather than the firmware download, use Blackmagic’s UK reseller directory and confirm the exact model and stock with the dealer.
